there have been a couple of recent events where fashion has played an important role in the evening.
perhaps there is none bigger than the cfda awards. cfda stands for the council of fashion designers of america. this year, tommy hilfiger won the geoffrey beene lifetime achievement award. mk + a won in the womenswear category for the row.
they both look really awesome wearing apparel from the row.
joan smalls did michael kors major justice in this gown. it looks like it was made for her.
she is a supermodel, so it probably was.
sophia bush rocked this david meister signature dress. i love her figure and this bold color.
i really love the color of erin heatherton's michael kors gown.
then, there were the mtv movie awards. i didn't watch the show, but i searched and searched to find (5) outfits that i could swoon over, but i came up short. here's the shortlist:
shailene woodley in stella mccartney.
i won't comment on the hair and makeup, but i love feminized menswear.
emma watson in a dress by brood.
her petite frame pulls off the geometric prints really well,
and mirrored prints are huge right now.
emma stone rocks it out in a martin green dress.
what is more fun than a modern twist on classic black and white?
let's just say the youngsters took the fashion popcorn at the mtv movie awards.
