fall cleaning

some folks get the itch to organize in the spring.

not this girl. 

the coming of fall makes me want to make room for all my big boots and chunky sweaters.

do you see this mess? hangers flying everywhere.

shoes all astray. 

driving me bananas.

for me, step 1, make piles.

1 pile always includes stuff to give away.

cleaning up, for me, always begins with organized chaos.

then, i steam all the clothes that are wrinkled.

next, make sure you have enough slimline hangers in the same color.

i felt so much better. i moved everything to a different rack
