local chic: indigo germantown

what a joy it was to attend indigo's grand opening event! 

as a loyal customer for over a decade, i was excited to help welcome

a new chapter in the boutique's life.

new decor and layout.

welcome to the party! indigo is filled with new chic decor in addition to its awesome merchandise.

the festivities.

inside, everyone was partying. there was a great mc/dj turning out the tunes all night.
there were magnificent waiters offering great eats for the shoppers.
i really enjoyed the lively crowd! 

chic tops.

there were plenty of great tops! sweaters galore + festive [wonderfully priced] jackets + lots of coziness

the color coordination was a visual dream.
 if these pops of red and green don't get you excited about the holidays, then i don't know what will!

my favorite items were the ones with glitter + shimmer + shine.
these are perfect for any work holiday party or even new years!
trust me when i tell you that there were TONS from which to choose. 

denim.

as expected, indigo did not disappoint with its vast selection of denim. trust me, it is denim for days! 

shoes.

there were tons of great booties! dv + sam edelman + ugg australia.
what wonderful christmas gifts! 

i loved this unique cowboy boot because it unites southern charm and western chic.
what's not to love?

one mega-popular brand is frye. these classic boots fly off the shelves almost as fast as they come in!
i am told that these boots are one of the most highly coveted christmas gifts for young girls and women.

maybe you did not know that indigo carried hunter brand rain boots, but they do :)
these are currently on *my* christmas list!

jewelry + bags + scarves + misc. accessories

one of the best gifts to receive is a hobo wallet! indigo has a ton right now, and they are neatly displayed by color family.
 guess what? the handbags had no shortage of holiday sparkle themselves...[ooh la la]

indigo now carries a vast array of marc jacobs products - from handbags to tech accessories to jewelry.
every girl would love to own a marc jacobs piece!

there were so many great bracelets in the store.
i noticed a good bit of monograms, delicate charms, and a lot of color,

that rings true for the necklaces as well.
you will have no problem playing stylist in search of the perfect accessories for your holiday looks.
there are gobs of baubles from which to choose!

the accessories were just amazing.
all of these items would make great gifts at a christmas exchange with friends
...or even better stocking stuffers!

and what is winter without the perfect scarf?
it is best to combat the cold with warmth and chic.
