peace up, A-town down

                           so, i spent the weekend in atlanta with friends and had such a blast.

colleen and will were going for a long drive competition,

and they were kind enough to let me tag along.

we got to spend quality time with our veteran atlanta friend, emily.

emily wanted to take me here for brunch on saturday,
and it was well worth my carbohydrates.
the biscuits are to die for, and the coffee was amazing.
the atmosphere was a nice retro-chic.
we solved the world's problems over coffee.

once we got to the country club for the competition, we decided to get drinks.
i have no idea why i ordered one because i never drink a bloody mary.
but she sure does photograph well :)

on our last day, we went to the aquarium.
we saw sharks, a dolphin show, and went on a wild manhunt for sharknado.

although it was but a quick jaunt to atlanta,

the time spent with friends was quality time.

i am very thankful to have them in my life.

sometimes the key to chic is the company you keep...
