Tennessee law allows for 16 weeks of maternity leave, so companies must provide that if requested. I requested it, but I will be going back almost 7 weeks earlier than that. By choice. But that doesn't mean I am not going to miss this dynamic that Eila and I have built over the last few months. It takes a while to build a routine or a habit, and it seems like by the time everything is starting to feel easy, I am changing it up again. But we are ready for this new chapter. But I just want to soak up these last five days.
A lot of the blog posts this week are going to be around the theme of career. It will provide a little motivation for me before I get back to the grind.
