World Wide Wednesday: Vol. 2

{What We Wore}

What's funny is that there is nothing particularly high-fashion about my mother's day outfit, but I must say that it is an honest representation of something I'd throw on to run around on the weekends (see also, yoga pants). So, here's a little more on what Eila and I wore on Mother's Day...

Just for fun, I took a personality test last week. Is is the same one I took about two years ago. You can find it here. Don't worry, it's free. You can place whatever stock in these you want, but I was intrigued to learn that my personality has not changed in two years. I am still ENFJ. According the site,

ENFJs are the benevolent 'pedagogues' of humanity. They have tremendous charisma by which many are drawn into their nurturant tutelage and/or grand schemes. Many ENFJs have tremendous power to manipulate others with their phenomenal interpersonal skills and unique salesmanship. But it's usually not meant as manipulation -- ENFJs generally believe in their dreams, and see themselves as helpers and enablers, which they usually are.

ENFJs are global learners. They see the big picture. The ENFJs focus is expansive. Some can juggle an amazing number of responsibilities or projects simultaneously. Many ENFJs have tremendous entrepreneurial ability.

ENFJs are, by definition, Js, with whom we associate organization and decisiveness. But they don't resemble the SJs or even the NTJs in organization of the environment nor occasional recalcitrance. ENFJs are organized in the arena of interpersonal affairs. Their offices may or may not be cluttered, but their conclusions (reached through feelings) about people and motives are drawn much more quickly and are more resilient than those of their NFP counterparts.

ENFJs know and appreciate people. Like most NFs, (and Feelers in general), they are apt to neglect themselves and their own needs for the needs of others. They have thinner psychological boundaries than most, and are at risk for being hurt or even abused by less sensitive people. ENFJs often take on more of the burdens of others than they can bear.

As fun as these are (and as neat as I think it is that I have not changed), this does not sound like me in my opinion.  But, I am in good company. Other ENFJs include Michael Jordan, Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, and Matthew McConaughey,

{What I'm Listening To}

I am a Spotify and iTunes user. I pay for the premium subscription of Spotify and have a lifelong passion for making playlists. The songs above are from my Singer/Songwriter Playlist, and I listened to all of those songs with Eila Bird during maternity leave. Between Lucas and me, this child is going to know some music!

Hot App - Periscope. We used the Periscope app for the first time to learn about the Dave Joerger firing from Chris Vernon. It's kind of a cool concept and a neat format to involve viewers.
