Let's be honest, Fall doesn't happen overnight - at least not in Memphis, TN. August comes and goes and is usually very hot. September gives you a grab bag of both. Our wedding (September 12), for example, was only a high of 74 degrees. But I have been to Cooper Young Festivals around that same time that were very much in the 90s. So there's a transition...somewhere in early football season between Cooper Young and Halloween when the world makes sense again. Leaves change. Basketball season begins. There's a crisp cool in the air. Starbucks changes its menu. You know what I mean...
